Today, Dr. Butch Ware announced his bid for the California Governor’s office for the 2026 election. Ware’s campaign stands strong on the Green Party’s core values, championing social justice, grassroots democracy and sustainable environmental practices.

Butch Ware made clear his unwavering commitment to prioritizing the needs of everyday people over special interests in the 2024 Presidential campaign as the Vice Presidential nominee for the Green Party. Now California residents looking for change have a serious option in the Governor’s race, outside the corporate-sponsored parties. Ware’s progressive and populist policies are attracting voters frustrated with the two-party status quo.

Opposition to unjust wars & misallocated resources
